This page explains what EntityBot stores when you use Fogdle, submit a build, suggest an archive correction, or connect a Reddit username.
Fogdle
Fogdle creates a random player identifier in your browser and sends that identifier to the EntityBot server. The server uses it to store daily guesses, wins, streaks, leaderboard statistics, achievements, and equipped cosmetic effects.
The identifier is not your Reddit account. Clearing site data can create a new local identifier unless you have connected a verified Reddit username and later merge the new device through verification.
Optional Reddit verification
You may enter a Reddit username to connect Fogdle progress across devices. The bot sends that Reddit account a temporary verification code. The site stores the verified username after the correct code is entered.
EntityBot does not ask for your Reddit password and does not receive permission to post from your account. Verification only confirms that you can read a private message sent to that username.
Builds and archive corrections
A build submission stores the loadout, title, description, tags, optional creator name, optional creator link, player identifier, and basic request information used for abuse prevention. Creator information included with an active build may be displayed publicly.
An archive correction stores the proposed changes, reason, optional Reddit username, player identifier, and basic request information used for review and abuse prevention. Correction details remain in the private review data unless an approved change is added to the public archive.
Technical records
The server keeps operational logs for reliability, rate limiting, moderation, and debugging. Some submission records include the source network address seen by the server. Private review and audit files are stored outside the public web root in this revision.
The public site does not intentionally use advertising trackers. External links, including Reddit, are governed by the privacy practices of those services after you open them.
Questions or removal requests
Contact cmcosmic through Reddit and include enough information to identify the relevant username, build, or submission. Do not send passwords or verification codes.
